Your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life - for many couples, it wouldn’t feel complete without their dog there.

As your dedicated wedding chaperone, I’ll make sure your dog is included without you having to worry about logistics or who is watching your dog.

From pre-wedding care, walks and transport, to photographs, ceremony support, toilet breaks, and post-wedding care, everything is tailored around your dogs’ needs and your wedding plans.

Your guests can enjoy seeing your dog, and your photographer can capture the memories, and I’ll be on hand to ensure they get their moment in the spotlight while also knowing when they need a quiet break from the excitement.

Every dog is different, so I like to make sure we’re familiar faces before the wedding.

An initial consultation is included free of charge to meet, discuss your plans and get to know your dog.

Where helpful, additional walks and visits before the wedding are optional, allowing your dog to build familiarity and confidence with me before their big day.

From growing up on a stud farm surrounded by horses and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a life spent outdoors with animals has always felt second nature. That upbringing fostered a deep love for dogs and an appreciation for their loyalty and the care they deserve.

Much of the inspiration behind Barking with Becky comes from Ruby, our much-loved Rhodesian Ridgeback. Affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully goofy, she’s happiest close to home, soaking up a sunny spot or joining the occasional adventure. Ruby sits at the heart of the business and features in our logo — a reflection of the genuine passion and lifelong connection with dogs that inspired its creation.

Barking with Becky helped us chaperone our whippet pup (9 months old) at our wedding and dog-sit on the wedding weekend.
Becky was superb! She was very communicative and prompt. She made sure to have all the information about the venue and timings. Becky brought everything Henderson needed, including treats, water, and a squeaky ball to get his attention for photographs with us!
